Whether you want to grow in your current field or explore new career opportunities, this interactive workshop will open up new possibilities. You will use the Career Design Guide, an assessment and planning tool for working adults to:

Identify the components of your most satisfying work
Think creatively about work and life opportunities
Link your results to today’s jobs, organizations, and industries
Clarify career direction, set goals, and create an action plan

Location: Santa Rosa Junior College
Dates: October 9, 16, and 23, 2003. Classes will be held on three successive Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Just how important are professional relationships? Whether you are an entrepreneur, work within an organization, or are seeking new work, networking is an essential tool for your career success. In this interactive workshop, you will:

Learn what smart networking is and isn’t
Discover the 5 steps required for building an effective network
Identify your current career stage and distinguish which networking strategies can help you develop and move forward
Acquire key skills for building and maintaining positive relationships
Map your existing network and create an action plan for expanding it
